Iceland is a magical place & must be experienced to be believed!

What started off as a tiny group exploring Icelandic child care, curriculums, environments & culture has now expanded internationally. With past attendees from: England, Scotland, Wales, Australia, Spain, Greece, Finland, Sweden, United States & Canada.

The idea behind creating these life changing trips came from two like minded individuals with passions for play. Their ideas and creativity blossomed when hosting the first trip in 2013. 

Nine successful trips and +400 attendees later, we are returning to Iceland, October 13-18th 2024 for our tenth anniversary!
Six days exploring settings, ​Icelandic culture + community

We dedicate the first two days to observing Icelandic settings in action + discuss what we have seen. We will also be swimming in lagoons, exploring downtown Reykjavik & adventuring to some of the sites beyond the city.

Attendees have the opportunity to connect across continents and create bonds that fuel their passion for years to come.

Not every experience is the same, tailoring the trips around those who are attending and what they can learn from each unique setting.

Visiting a variety of settings in the local area gives everyone the opportunity to experience Icelandic practice, ask questions and share their thoughts & ideas.    

This trip is an opportunity to take step back from your "everyday" + explore your passion for early childhood education with likeminded people.
